Alpha-Alpaca-Pack discusses Andrei Tarkovsky’s innovative use of sound in his 1979 film, Stalker. Rather than adhering to reality, Tarkovksy built an expressionistic soundscape to characterize “The Zone,” the otherworldly landscape his characters traverse in the film.
