How 'The Hunt' Built A Breakable Set For Its Epic Fight Scene | Movies Insider

Universal’s “The Hunt,” starring Betty Gilpin and Hilary Swank, garnered much controversy, as well as praise for its thrilling final fight sequence. Pulling off this fight scene was no easy feat, as it required the crew to construct a set that was built for stunts and destruction. Director Craig Zobel walked Insider through how this scene was shot, which was a collaboration between production design, stunts, and special effects. It started with building a cardboard model of the set and ended with a lot of fake broken glass and tables and a stunt double getting kicked through a fireplace.
