Ridley Scott
Sir Ridley Scott is an English director and producer. Scott studied in West Hartlepool College of Art, graduating with a Diploma in Design before progressing to an M.A. in graphic design at the Royal College of Art from 1960 to 1962, where he helped to establish the college film department. Following his breakthrough with the commercial film Alien (1979), Scott’s further works include the neo-noir cult classic Blade Runner (1982), historical drama Gladiator (2000) and sci-fi film, The Martian (2015).
