FAQ

Find answers to commonly asked questions.

  1. How will I be anonymous?
We take your anonymity very seriously. This site is based on anonymous reviews. We will never divulge your information to anyone ever, unless required by law.
  2. What if you don't have any information about my employer?
We are just getting started. We have more that 60,000 employers in our database. As time progresses, we will collect more information to help you. If your employer is not in our database, please feel free to add your employer.
  3. Why is there a restriction on the length of reviews?
We have on purpose put a restriction of 100 words when you write a review. We feel that it is the minimum length required to meaningfully tell your experience. We feel that it is not good enough to say "I love my job" or "I hate my job". We need the story behind the experience. That is the only way others will understand your experience. So go for it - tell it like it is. Please visit our community guidelines page for additional guidelines regarding posting on our site.
  4. I only see partial reviews. Why don't I see full reviews?
We have restricted full review views only to people who register and write a review. This is a community driven site and you need to write a review to view a review.
  5. What should I write in a review?
You can write about your experience(s) at your present or past employer. Just remember to write something that shows why you feel that way about your employer. No company deserves a zero rating in every category. So think a little before you start writing. Yes, there will be good and bad about your employer but we are also interested in the uniqueness of your employer. What makes this place what it is? Be objective, we don't like cry babies.
  6. What if someone writes something that is untrue?
What is posted on this site are the opinions of people that posted them. However, this not a place to write false and misleading information. The only editorial function utilized by our administrators is "DELETE" when someone points out a review that is inappropriate or a review that violates our rules.
  7. Why cant I find Du pont and other common company names?
On occasion a company that is well is known has a slightly different "actual name". For e.g. consider the world famous chemical company Du pont. Its "real name" is E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. Another example is UPS. Its real name is United Parcel Service of America Inc. Since our database goes with real names, it will help to search accordingly. We have more than 60,000 companies in our database. Chances are the company you are looking for is already in there. If not, you can always add your company.
