2 jobs that pay a lot of coin
I was speaking to my friend the other day and we were discussing the economy and jobs in general. Yup .. the sky is falling but there are a few jobs that most “professionals” may not want, but pay a lot of coin.
It just so happens that my friend’s friend’s friend sells woman’s shoes at Nordstrom in Los Angeles. This gentleman in question took home more than $250K last year. Supposedly Nordstrom pays a good 18% commission on sales. That translates to about $1.4 million in sales. I am sure he sold a ton of Jimmy Choos to the Hollywood set. WOW …. women in this country really love their shoes. No education required for this job. Just a gift of gab and the ability to fulfill the Hollywood Set’s desire for the latest shoe from Christian Louboutin.
As the discussion continued, a Casino veteran told me that a Las Vegas Valet on the strip can make up to $80K per year( tips included). No education required. Just an ability to drive fancy cars. While we cannot confirm either of these two salaries, we believe they are possible. So folks, take heart. If something bad were to happen, we can compromise by driving fancy cars for sometime.
